Has only one meaning. --vogel (:> )=| 1 jan 2010 23:24 (UTC)

Indeed. "liejer", "veurgenger", "aanveurder", "veurder" etc. all mean "Führer"/"leader". But their use depends on the situation/context. F.e. "veurgenger" is a leader of a smaller group and "veurder" of a larger group. ("Veurder" with a capital letter therefor is used for the "Führer" of the second world war) --Ooswesthoesbes 2 jan 2010 07:18 (UTC)
That is interesting, I can't think of a similar differentiation in German or Icelandic for this word, nice, thanks, --vogel (:> )=| 2 jan 2010 09:02 (UTC)
I can't tell for Icelandic, but German indeed doesn't have it as far as I know. --Ooswesthoesbes 2 jan 2010 12:54 (UTC)
